NVIDIA Expects CMP (Crypto Mining Processor) Revenue to Triple For Q1 FY22 – GPU Shortages to Continue Throughout 2021

NVIDIA have held a tremendous GTC keynote where they’ve announced absolutely fuck all that consumers actually care about, unless of course you’re some kind of faggot who thinks more Quadro cards is what we need right now when NVIDIA are practically selling everything possible to cryptocurrency miners.

NVIDIA have certainly put a massive emphasis on cryptocurrency mining which is clear to see as the company now expects to triple its overall revenue of its brand new CMP HX (Cryptocurrency Mining Processors) to a total of $150M from its previous expectation of $50M.

Revealed during their annual “Investor Day” presentation where NVIDIA have gone over their projected quarterly revenue outlook for their Q1 of fiscal year 2022.

Though obviously this $150 million dollar revenue projection does not include their actual GeForce graphics cards with majority of the few actually produced finding homes mining cryptocurrency as a much more robust alternative to the cancerous rebranded trash that is their CMP HX range.

“NVIDIA’s market platforms include Gaming, Data Center, Professional Visualization, and Automotive. The company also raised its first-quarter revenue estimate for its new CMP product for industrial-scale cryptocurrency mining to $150 million, up from $50 million previously expected.”

And it’s no surprises why NVIDIA has certainly put more focus on crypto mining what with it booming and all, but on top of that their CMP HX products utilize for the most part rebranded trash silicon from older generation hardware, such as the 30HX being able to produce just 26 MH/s which isn’t any better than say an RX 580.

And that’s due to the fact that the CMP 30HX is based on the GTX 1660 Super which is quite an abysmal graphics card as a standalone yet when it comes to ETH mining it’s pure and utter shit. The CMP 40HX is based on the TU106 core while the 50HX is most likely also based on RTX 20 series hardware.

These mining cards are made extremely cheap coming with no display outputs, limited packaging and with such abysmal warranty it may as well not come with any. NVIDIA has been trying to “rectify” the issue that PC gamers have been plagued with because of crypto mining by reproducing last generation trash for both gamers and miners strictly to generate profits.

And profit NVIDIA shall have only having recently struck a massive deal supplying Hut 8 Mining Corp with these horrendous CMP processors in a $30M deal.

With NVIDIA’s own cryptocurrency mining processors playing a major role in their projected outlook for Q1 2022, by no means does this actually mean that gaymers will soon be able to purchase their own GeForce graphics card in store.

Previously we’ve had multiple blanket statements from NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang and their CFO, Colette Kress with the latter debunking all the bullshit spewed out by Jensen Huang regarding GPU availability. With the last statement regarding limited availability of RTX 30 series hardware being until May however it would seem that gaymers aren’t going to get diddly squat throughout the entire year.

With NVIDIA CEO, Colette Kress stating during the investors day presentation:

“We expect demand to continue to exceed supply for much of this year, our operations team is agile and executing fantastically. We expect our supplies to increase as the year progresses.”

Considering that NVIDIA have sold upwards of $175M worth of RTX hardware directly to miners before the initial conception of the CMP HX rebrand scam. It would certainly appear that NVIDIA don’t actually give a shit towards consumers who can’t actually buy their products because those that are buying the scraps left behind are more than willing to pay extra for them.

At least on the plus side it was also announced that there are no plans to release a whole new generation of graphics cards this year by NVIDIA, which was to be expected really because why bother with a refresh of shit that you cannot produce / will not sell to market anyway? You may as well starve the beast for an entire year and completely fuck them over when they’re actually able to get one in store.
